Back in the U. S. of A.!

Hello everyone~

I am officially back home in Los Angeles. I still have a lot to update on our blog, but since I left my laptop and camera in Beijing with Michael, those last few posts are just going to have to wait. As for being back home, it was a bittersweet experience boarding my plane bound for California. Even though I had a difficult time adjusting to China when I first arrived, I began to absolutely LOVE it. The food, the public transportation, the prices of things... but it is good to be home in the USA.

Things I have to look forward to in September?

1. School starts on Sept. 6th! How lucky and I that I only have 8 students this year. :)
2. Michael comes home on the 14th! I am so excited to see my hubby!
3. My 30th birthday on the 29th... YIKES!!

I am sure you don't remeimber me but we are good friends of your parents. We go way back! We lived in Tallahassee in the 80! We stayed with your parents in Frankfurt a few days when they first where on their mission. They told us they were going to China to see you and go on a river cruise. I enjoy reading your blog and see your pictures. I think I may have gone on my first cruise with you and your first cruise!!! IF I look hard I bet I can find a cruise picture of you on the cruise.
